Welcome to my personal page! You might have found this page on one of my socials or my resume. My name is Luuk Mollevanger. In Dutch, "Mollevanger" translates to mole catcher (Hence the name ;-) ). You can check out some of my work here.

Work

Visma connect

While studing information security management, Visma connect (formerly EBPI) had given me the chance to work as a junior securiy professional to enhance their security maturity level. It was a fun challenge to create more awareness within the company, create business continuity plans and work together with the team to comply with auditory standards. This was a part time job and a good start to my security career.

Wortell

I've worked for wortell for a period of 3.5 years as a security analist and trainee. I had the opportunity to work for a very fast growing microsoft partner with some of the best security professionals on a technical level. I have learned about attack techniques, attack surface management, azure sentinel, azure security stack, incident investigation, management, response and remediation. I had a blast at this company and loved learning at a very high pace.

Royal Flora Holland

As of the first of December 2023, I'll be starting as an Information Security Officer at Royal Flora Holland! More about this soon to come...

About

A bit more about me: I'm passionate about technology, IT, security, blockchain.. and craft beers! I love to work-out with some friends, play some video games, go hiking with my girlfriend and cooking elaborate dishes.

On a more professional level, communicating and translating complex security measures to workable and balanced operations is my most fun challenge. I have a BsC in information security management from the Hague university of applied sciences. I aim to use my technical background as a security analist to really grasp the meaning and impact of security measures that come from a strategic perspective

In addition to my work I like to dive into the (cryptocurrency) market and try to find good investment opportunities. I find it a very rewarding hobby that still triggers the 'detective' in me.
